Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens to the following posts to be filled up purely on contract basis at NILD, Kolkata and Composite Regional Centre’s at Patna & Tripura under the administrative control of NILD, Kolkata. The details of the posts are as under: –

General Terms & Conditions: –
1 Applications duly completed in all respects and signed by the candidates in the prescribed format along with self
attested photocopies of relevant enclosures in respect of qualifications, age proof, category, experience, last pay
drawn, etc. should reach through Speed Post/Courier/By Hand to the Director, National Institute for Locomotor
Disabilities (Divyangjan), B.T. Road, Bon-Hooghly, Kolkata-700090 within 15 days from the date of
publication of the advertisement in the Newspaper.
2 Applications received through e-mail/late/incomplete will not be considered and the Institute will not be
responsible for any postal delay. Late application recieved will not be considered for scrutiny.
3 Applications should be neatly typed on A/4 size plain paper as per the prescribed format. All Columns of the
application form should be filled up and no column should be left blank.
4 The Demand Draft (Non-refundable) of Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only) drawn in favour of National
Institute for the Orthopaedically Handicapped should be submitted along with the application. Separate
application should be submitted for each post. The candidate should clearly mention their name & post applied for
on the back side of Demand Draft. No fee is prescribed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women, PwDs category
(Divyangjan) and for remuneration below of Rs. 20,000/- per month.

Candidates are required to take a printout of the payment details including UTR No./UPI No./UPI Ref No. made
through online mode & should be submitted along with the application. No fee is prescribed for candidates
belonging to SC/ST/Women & PwDs category (Divyangjan) and for remuneration below Rs. 20,000/- per
month.The online application fee is non-refundable.
5 Applications incomplete in any respect and not accompanied by copies of mark sheets/certificates/proof of age,
experience (present & previous)/other relevant documents, photograph, unsigned and not in the prescribed format
will be summarily rejected at the time of scrutiny.
6 Candidates must ensure before applying that they are fulfilling the eligibility criteria. Essential Educational
Qualification, experience, desirable qualification, age etc. will be reckoned as on the date of interview. If the
candidate is found ineligible, at any stage of recruitment process, he/she will be disqualified and their candidature
cancelled. Hiding of information or submitting false information will lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage
of recruitment.
7 The decision of the competent authority in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications
etc. will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this
connection. The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all applications without giving any reason whatsoever.
8 The Institute reserves the right for any amendment, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in
part without assigning any reason or giving any notice.
9 Candidates are advised to submit all relevant copies (Mark sheets & Certificates) in support of their
Academic/Technical/Professional qualifications and experience.
10 Canvassing and/or bringing influence in any form will disqualify the candidature.
11 The engagement for the post of Core Faculty for CBID Course (Sl. No.07), CCCGP Course (Sl No.08) of CRC-Patna
and NILD, Kolkata (Sl. No.12) will be purely on contract basis on consolidate remuneration initially for 06 (six)
months.
12 The engagement for the post will be purely on contract basis on consolidated remuneration as indicated against
each post for an initial period not exceeding 03 years. It may extendable up to maximum 05 years based on the
performance appraisal of the incumbent and subject to Institute requirement.
13 In case, more than 20 applications are received for each post, the screening will be done through written
examination followed by Personal Interviews of short listed candidates. The ratio of vacancy and number of short
listed candidates for interview round will be 1:5 per vacancy. Skill tests will be conducted for technical posts
wherever such skill/qualification forms essential part of the job. The skill test will be conducted before Personal
Interviews wherever applicable. Skill test will be conducted for shortlisting purpose only.
14 In case where no desirable qualification and desirable experience is required as per respective RRs, 100%
weightage will be given to Written Test and in case where either desirable qualification or desirable experience is
required as per RRs, 90% weightage will be given to Written Test.
15 The engagement is purely contractual in nature and does not confer any right for regularization or permanent
absorption. The appointee will not be entitled to any allowances, financial benefits or concession as admissible to
government employees. Statutory deduction will be made according to rules.
16 The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law and Central Vigilance Commission.
17 Age limit: Maximum age limit will be as given against each post.
18 Tenure of appointment on contract of retired employees should be maximum up to age of 65 years.
19 The upper age limit will be reckoned as on closing date of receipt of Application.
20 Any dispute arising out of this Advertisement including the recruitment process shall be subject to the sole
jurisdiction of the Courts situated at Kolkata only
21 Resolution of Tie Cases: – In written test examination, in cases where more than one candidate secures equal
MARKS, tie will be resolved by using date of birth with older candidates placed higher.
22 Number of vacancy as indicated may vary as per Institute requirement. Institute shall prepare panel of selected
candidates & same shall valid for One year from the date of recommendation. Engagement of candidate shall be
considered on the basis of vacancy if arises and subject to validity of panel.
23 He/She is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the Institute employees.
24 Experience may be relaxed by the Competent Authority for otherwise eligible and suitable candidates.
25 The competent authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as
a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice.
26 Candidate should write the ‘Name of the Post’ applied for and Advertisement Number on the top of the envelope
and separate envelopes should be used if applying for more than one post.
